Team operations
Organize team tasks
Assign work and follow its progress.
Before you start
You need Tasks access. Your role determines whether you can view the full team.
Step by step
- Open Tasks and choose Board, Timeline, Sheet, or Calendar.
- Create a task with a clear title and description.
- Choose an assignee, priority, and due date. Link a contact when relevant.
- Save and move the card as work progresses.
- Open the task to keep comments and context in one place.
One task, four views
Board groups work by status, Timeline places it over time, Sheet shows rows, and Calendar organizes it by date. Switching views does not duplicate a task. If it is missing from a time-based view, check whether it has a date and whether that date falls within the visible period.
The assignee identifies who should act; a linked contact adds sales context. High priority does not replace a due date. Use comments to record team decisions and update the column as work progresses. Tasks are internal: they are not student tickets or a channel for messaging clients.
What to expect
The task has an owner, a due date, and a clear place in the workflow.
Troubleshooting
A due date does not imply an automatic reminder. Do not use customer tickets for internal team discussions.
