Connect Resend for email

Before you start

You need a Resend account and a verified domain to send from it.

Step by step

1. In Resend, verify your sending domain using the DNS records it provides.
2. Create an API key for email delivery.
3. In Nod, open Integrations → Resend → Configure.
4. Paste the key into the corresponding field and save the connection.
5. Review Nod’s email settings: sender name, sender address, and reply address where applicable.
6. Use an address on the verified domain and check the configuration before enabling customer emails.

Domain, sender, and delivery

Verifying a domain in Resend allows it to be used for sending. Nod’s sender address must belong to that domain and represent the business. The reply-to address determines where a response goes; it is not necessarily the same field as the sender.

If email fails, check the domain status and records requested by Resend before changing the key. Then verify the sender name, sender address, and recipient. A portal access email and an automation can serve different purposes: identify which action should have sent the message. Never include the API key in support screenshots or messages.

Nod has a connected email provider and a sender matching the verified domain.

Troubleshooting

A valid key does not automatically verify your domain. Check its status in Resend if delivery fails.

The reply address is different from the authorized sender. Never paste API keys into email bodies or support forms.
