Assign End of Day by role, person, and schedule

Define who answers, which weekdays apply, and the deadline.

Before you start

Open an existing form with editing permission. Assignment is internal to the business; it does not create a public link.

Step by step

  1. In End of Day, open Edit on the form.
  2. Click Who fills this form in and select the required roles.
  3. Use Add somebody not in those roles to include individual exceptions.
  4. Use Exclude somebody who is to remove a person from the audience.
  5. Review the final recipient list and click Save access.
  6. Under Days and deadline, select weekdays and check the time. Save the form after changing these settings.
Who fills this form in: included roles and individual inclusion and exclusion exceptions.
  1. Select the roles that should respond.
  2. Include exceptions outside those roles.
  3. Exclude people who should not receive it.
Days and deadline: weekdays and submission deadline for the End of Day routine.
  1. Select the days when a response is required.
  2. Review the deadline before saving the form.

Assignment does not grant review permission

Assignment determines who must answer. Permission to view other people’s responses is managed separately. A member can be required to complete a form while still seeing only their own responses.

Do not use an exclusion to excuse a historical absence: use a justification in Compliance for that specific day. Changing the audience determines recipients; it does not create an answer on someone’s behalf.

What to expect

The form has a defined audience and response schedule that you can verify in its settings.

Troubleshooting

If a person is missing, check their current role, inclusions, and exclusions before recreating the form.

If it does not appear for a member today, also check active status, weekday, and the business time zone.
