Account and permissions
Configure roles and permissions
Choose what each person can open and manage.
Before you start
The owner configures business permissions. Owners and administrators have full access.
Step by step
- Open Team → Permissions.
- Review the role columns and grant only the areas each role needs.
- Under Tools, review additional capabilities: the assistant, business-wide payments, team management, and End of Day review.
- For Nod AI, distinguish assigned Leads, business-wide access, configuration, usage, and voice capabilities.
- For a custom role, select New role and choose whether to copy another role’s permissions. Review the matrix afterward.
- Check individual permissions where applicable. Verify the result from the member’s account.
Area access and permission to act
Seeing a section does not always allow every action within it. The matrix separates areas and tools; some controls also require owner or administrator status. Define each role’s job and grant the permissions needed for it.
If a teammate sees something different, first check their business, then their role, and finally any individual overrides. In End of Day, permission to review other people’s responses is different from answering your own form. In Nod AI, viewing conversations, configuring the agent, and using voice are capabilities to review separately.
What to expect
Each person can access the areas and tools needed for their work.
Troubleshooting
Permissions do not replace the features included in the subscription.
If a member only sees assigned Leads in Nod AI, review business-wide access. Do not grant full administrator access just to unlock a specific option.
