Filter and export Leads

Build a focused list before downloading a CSV.

Before you start

Exports contain business data. Only share the file with authorized people.

Step by step

  1. Open Leads and combine Created, Status, Tags, Type, and Assigned to filters.
  2. Add a name, email, or phone search to narrow the results.
  3. Review the rows and pagination. You can change the number of rows per page.
  4. Select checkboxes to export specific contacts. Without a selection, the export uses filtered results.
  5. Select Export CSV and check the downloaded records.

Export the exact set you need

Filters work together: a person must match the selected criteria to appear. If a contact seems missing, clear the search first, then remove filters one at a time. Also check that your role can access that person’s records; filters do not expand your permissions.

Before exporting, check whether any rows are selected. A selection exports those people; without a selection, the filtered results are used. Do not confuse the rows on one page with the full filtered set. Open the downloaded file and check the headers, record count, and a familiar row before using it in another tool.

What to expect

You receive the contacts matching your filters or selection.

Troubleshooting

If contacts are missing, review filters and checkboxes before exporting again. Export does not provide CSV import.
