Prepare and approve your playbook

Explain your offer, qualification criteria, and rules to the agent.

Before you start

You need permission to configure Nod AI. Prepare accurate, up-to-date business information.

Step by step

  1. Open Configure Setter AI or the playbook in agent settings.
  2. Complete the business, offer, audience, qualification, objections, tone, and escalation sections requested by the interface.
  3. Add materials and examples that explain your approach.
  4. Explicitly save your progress before leaving. Resolve outstanding questions and incomplete sections.
  5. Test the configuration in the simulator and review the replies.
  6. Approve the playbook once it is complete and reviewed. Check its status again after editing.
My playbook: business identity, offer, qualification, objections, style, and human handoff sections.

What makes a useful playbook

Describe the offer, who it helps, qualification criteria, and when a person should step in. Separate business facts from tone examples: an example sentence should not introduce a price or term that does not exist. Supporting materials should reinforce the same rules.

Saving preserves your work; approval authorizes a specific revision for use. After changing an offer or instruction, return to the simulator and test the affected situations. Resolve pending clarifications before approving. Check that you are testing the latest revision: a good answer from an older version does not verify new changes.

What to expect

The agent has a saved, reviewed sales guide.

Troubleshooting

Saving and approving are different. An edit can remove approval; check the status before enabling automated handling.
