Connect Fathom and find a recording
Attach meeting recordings and summaries to the right calls.
Before you start
Each team member connects Fathom from their own profile. Use the account matching their email.
Step by step
- In Fathom, open Settings → API Access and generate an API key.
- In Nod, open My profile → My connections → Fathom.
- Paste the key and select Connect. Nod checks the connection and registers the provider’s automatic event notification.
- Review an existing call after Fathom finishes processing it.
- Open the call to view the recording and summary when they have been matched.
From recording to contact record
Connect using the member’s Fathom account API key. Nod can import earlier recordings when connected; new ones arrive after the provider finishes processing them. A meeting still being processed may not yet have a summary.
To find a recording, compare its participants and email with the Nod call and contact. If the link appears but playback fails, also check its permissions in Fathom. Do not include the API key in a support screenshot. For troubleshooting, provide the date, meeting title, and error while avoiding private conversation content.
What to expect
Fathom information is associated with the corresponding call.
Troubleshooting
Fathom does not create a contact or call in Nod on its own. A matching call must exist, identified through attendees, host, and time.
When several calls could match, do not assume the recording has been attached. Check the emails and call details before requesting help.
