Organize internal procedures

Store work links and files in folders.

Before you start

You need SOPs access. This is a team library, not the student portal.

Step by step

  1. Open SOPs and enter the appropriate folder or create one.
  2. Add the procedure as a link or file and give it a recognizable title.
  3. Assign an area and type where applicable.
  4. Use search and filters to find procedures across the library.
  5. Open the resource to confirm your team can access its content.
SOPs: search, filters, and folder access. Folder names are defined by each business.

Organize procedures people can find

Use folders to group procedures and area and type fields to classify them. Search and filters can find resources beyond the folder you were viewing. Before creating another SOP, search its title or process to avoid maintaining two conflicting instructions.

A SOP is a link or a file, not a portal lesson. Check the external document’s permissions if teammates cannot open it. If a download URL has expired, reopen the resource from Nod. To share content with students, use Portal resources or Training rather than this internal library.

What to expect

The procedure is organized and discoverable in the library.

Troubleshooting

Nod does not edit a linked document. If the file is hosted elsewhere, check that tool’s sharing permissions too.
