Publish portal resources and recordings

Deliver supporting material alongside a program.

Before you start

You need Customer Portal access. Decide whether the material is for everyone or one specific student.

Step by step

  1. Open Customer Portal and go to Resources or Recordings.
  2. Add the resource or recording URL with a clear title.
  3. Choose the audience: the whole portal or a specific student, depending on the material.
  4. Save and review the list to check the title and recipient.
  5. Keep portal FAQs up to date in their corresponding section.
New resource: type, link, audience, and description of the portal resource.
Client portal: recordings, resources, and help are managed in separate areas.

Check who should see the resource

Portal resources are delivered to students. SOPs are internal team procedures; choose the right library so recipients are not confused. An individual recording should have the appropriate audience rather than being shared with the entire portal for convenience.

Before saving, check the title and open the resource URL to review its permissions. A link that works in your session may require access the student does not have. If a resource is missing, check its recipient and the account the student used to sign in. For material tied to a specific lesson, consider attaching it to that lesson in Training.

What to expect

The material is assigned to your chosen audience.

Troubleshooting

Edit programs in Learning. Internal SOPs are a separate library, not student portal resources.
