Account and permissions
Create a subaccount for another business
Prepare an independent workspace with its own owner.
Before you start
Your plan and permissions must include Subaccounts. A subaccount is another business, not another member of yours.
Step by step
- Open Subaccounts and select New subaccount.
- Enter the business name and address, plus the new owner’s details.
- Choose structures to copy, such as stages, products, forms, or procedures.
- Review the selection before creating it. Structures are copied, not your customer data.
- Deliver initial access to the owner through an appropriate channel and ask them to change the password.
- In the new business, review copied references before publishing forms or landing pages and enabling automations.
Copying structure does not copy clients
Copy settings prepare reusable elements for the new business. Review the selected structures before creating a subaccount; do not treat the copy as a transfer of contacts, sales, or responses from the original business.
After entering the subaccount, review text, links, recipients, and product delivery before publishing or enabling anything. A structure that worked in the original business may contain references needing adjustment. Connections and permissions also need review in their own context. Share initial credentials privately and ask the owner to update their password.
What to expect
The business has an independent workspace. You can review its subscription status from your subaccount list.
Troubleshooting
Copied forms and landing pages start unpublished; automations start disabled. They may reference items that existed only in the original account.
Creating a subaccount does not automatically give you access to that business’s private data.
