Set up student onboarding

Organize what students complete before entering the portal.

Before you start

You need Onboarding access. Define the journey and prepare welcome materials.

Step by step

  1. Open Onboarding and configure its pages and order.
  2. Use the welcome, form, contract, and completion options you need.
  3. Fill in copy and links. If using a contract, review the document students will sign.
  4. Adjust the appearance and use preview to walk through the flow.
  5. Check which customers have started and which steps remain.

Review the journey before sharing it

Order the steps around what clients need to complete: welcome, form, contract, and finish. Check that the selected form is published and that its video or document opens. Preview lets you review the journey without turning your team account into a student account.

Pending onboarding affects portal access. If a client says they cannot reach their program, first check whether a step is unfinished. Changing a page’s content is not the same as completing that step for them. Keep each screen’s instructions clear so clients know what they need to do before continuing.

What to expect

Students have a defined entry flow before accessing their portal.

Troubleshooting

Team members should use preview instead of completing a real customer’s onboarding. Onboarding does not replace payment or enrollment.
