Create a Pipeline and configure its stages

Set up a board for each sales process and define what every stage means.

Before you start

You need management permissions. Decide which process to separate before creating another board.

Step by step

  1. Open Pipeline and click the current board name to open the selector.
  2. Choose the create Pipeline option, enter a recognizable name, and confirm creation.
  3. Open stage settings for the selected board.
  4. Review names, colors, and order. Use the arrows to arrange stages in sales-process order.
  5. Check each stage’s outcome function and its Nod AI mapping when using that setting. Do not infer the function from its name alone.
  6. Return to the board and verify the columns before moving real opportunities.
Pipeline settings: each stage has a name, color, and tracking rules. Stage names are the business’s own content.

Changes that affect the team

Renaming a stage clarifies its label; changing its function can affect how outcomes are interpreted. Agree on names with the team and review stage-based automations before reorganizing the process.

Deleting a board can relocate its Leads to another board. Do not use deletion to hide a portfolio or run a test. Switching boards lets you view another process without deleting the previous one.

What to expect

The selector shows the new board and its columns match your chosen process.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot create another board, check your role and plan limit in Settings → Plans.

If a stage cannot be deleted, check whether it is a protected outcome stage or the last remaining one. Read the confirmation before deleting.
