Use Setter and Closer boards

Review each stage of your sales team’s work.

Before you start

You need Sales access. Permissions determine which records you can view.

Step by step

  1. Open Sales and choose the Setter or Closer board.
  2. Review the stages and open an opportunity to see its context.
  3. Select a team member when you want to review their pipeline and the control is available.
  4. Update the stage based on the actual follow-up outcome.
  5. Use the team and closed-sales views available to your role.

Read Setter and Closer activity correctly

The Setter board covers opportunity preparation and follow-up. The Closer board supports calls and their sales outcomes. Check the selected member and view before comparing team figures.

Open the opportunity and read its notes and calls before changing it. Record the actual outcome: a booked call is not an attended call, and an attended call is not a payment. To verify a sale, cross-check the Revenue transaction and its assigned team member. If another teammate is missing from your selector, ask an administrator to review your role’s scope.

What to expect

You can distinguish booking a call from closing a sale.

Troubleshooting

Do not confuse opportunity counts with collected money. Check payments and their assigned owners when reconciling revenue.
