Set Up and Deliver a 1:1 Service
Organize a client’s roadmap, lessons, and deliverables in a private space.
Before you start
You need a portal client and 1:1 service permissions. Viewing, editing, publishing, managing access, and deleting are separate permissions; owners and administrators have all of them.
Step by step
- In Clients, open the client record → 1:1 service → open the service. If no space exists, enable it and provide the required reason when granting access.
- Prepare the header and add roadmap stages with a title, description, planned date, and status. Only the team moves stages between pending, in progress, and completed.
- Add modules, then lessons, resources, and deliverables within them. New content starts as a draft.
- Set each item’s availability: on publication, when you unlock it, or after a stage is completed. Associating an item with a stage does not itself lock it until that stage is complete.
- Publish both the module and the items the client should see. Administrators can check the result using the client preview.
- After publishing a batch, notify the client. The notification appears in the portal bell; it does not send an email.
Manual, purchase, and subscription access
Each client has one space per business. They can enter while at least one access grant remains active. Manual grants continue until revoked; purchase and subscription grants depend on payment and validity.
To grant access through a product, select “Includes the 1:1 service” in a Program product and save. You still need to prepare and publish the content. Revoking one grant does not remove other grants.
Lessons, resources, and deliverables
Lessons can include an embedded video link, explanation, resource link, and downloadable file. Save the lesson and reopen it to attach the download. Resources can be files, links, linked videos, or text.
Deliverables request a file or link. Clients can replace a submission; the team receives a bell notification and can open the submission from the service.
Clients independently mark lessons completed and implemented. These are self-reported progress markers, not automatic proof of learning. File and link resources do not count as lessons in progress totals.
Templates without private client material
Only mark general material as reusable. Save a template and apply it to another space to create draft stages, modules, and items. Review before publishing.
Dates, progress, access, and the original client’s submissions are not copied. A private file marked reusable can travel with the template, so review that checkbox before saving.
Publishing and requesting a review
Saving changes to published content makes them visible immediately. Move the item to draft if you are still preparing it.
Requesting a new review makes a previously completed lesson pending without deleting its history. Roadmap dates are informational: they do not schedule publication or trigger notifications by themselves.
What to expect
The client sees their roadmap and published, available content in “My 1:1 service.” The team can review completed lessons, implemented lessons, and received deliverables.
Troubleshooting
If an item is missing, check client access, both publication states, and the unlock condition.
Lesson videos use YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, or Wistia links. Check the provider’s privacy settings too.
Files are limited to 50 MB. Links must start with https://.
Revoking access preserves content and progress. Deleting a module or deliverable can delete associated submissions; this is not the same as archiving.
